Smart Parks
are not just about looking smart, they are about making public parks work
smarter for users, and about helping hard-pressed park managers work smarter.
The key to this is the use of technology.
Technology
for use in parks is developing apace.
2019 sees a
new event on this theme called SmartParks.
This all-day
event, being held in Stevenage (on the East Coast Main line) in Hertfordshire
on 11 October 2019 will comprise a series of talks, opportunities for
networking and visiting trade stands centred around the conference theme.
Including a
range of material from the inspirational to the practical, our speakers will
cover a number of interrelated sessions on embracing
technology to support the management and use of parks and greenspace.
This event
has been developed by current park managers for park managers within their
existing regional network at the lowest price possible. Because we believe that
there currently is not an event quite like it in the UK to meet needs and the
opportunities, it has been opened up to a wider
audience.
